New Additions to CORE Team Show Value of Internships

Posted on by David

We’d like to introduce our two new interns, Colin Gliniecki and David Urintsev. At CORE, we know the value of obtaining real-world experience before you enter the workforce. We believe that learning the industry through an internship  is a vital part of career development, and provides an understanding of what to expect after graduation. We’ve seen great things from Colin and David this Summer and look forward to their contributions throughout the year!

Colin Gliniecki

I began my education in computer aided design at Kewaskum High School during my senior year. I already had a strong knowledge of graphic design programs that carried over quickly to CAD and CAM software. At Kewaskum High School, I had access to a CNC lathe, CNC mill, and CNC plasma cutter.  I also had access to a variety of design and machining software, which I used to design a 2-disc centrifugal racing clutch, air filter, cribbage board, and a few other small projects. As a part of my Technology Education classes at Kewaskum, I had the chance to tour Moraine Park Technical College and machine some projects on their equipment. That inspired me to enroll in their Mechanical Design Technology program. After obtaining my Associates degree from Moraine Park, I will transfer to the Milwaukee School of Engineering where I will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BS-MET). At CORE, I am learning about their 3d printer and working on the small design tasks they give me. It is a great place to work and it’s a perfect fit for me and my future!

David Urintsev

My strong passion for business began at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin. While at Homestead, I took classes such as Marketing, Business Law, Financial Management, and Product Development Project. In Product Development Project, I had the opportunity to work with executives at Usinger’s to develop two new products and work through the entire product development cycle. This incredible first-hand experience convinced me that business was what I wanted to pursue. Currently, I am a sophomore at UW-Madison studying Marketing and Management and Human Resources and planning on graduating in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. At CORE Consulting, I work side-by-side with the Resource Coordinator on both daily and long-term projects such as monthly newsletters, insurance auditing, and company advertising. At the CORE office, I am surrounded by extremely knowledgeable and helpful people who have made my experience absolutely amazing. I look forward to continuing my work for CORE throughout my school year remotely while at Madison.
