Here at CORE, we’re excited to participate in the development of our local youth and expose them to science and technology through engineering. To that end, CORE is once again proud to participate as business mentors to a Product Development Project (PDP) group from Homestead High School. During the mentor sessions, we will focus on bringing innovation into the kitchen by solving common kitchen problems. The students from the PDP group will invent, research, market, and produce (via CORE’s 3D Printer) a product to help cooks from all culinary backgrounds. We hope this will be a good exercise in not only what it takes to make a food-safe consumer good, but what it means to operate as a small business, while teaching the principles of 3D printing. Stay tuned to the CORE Facebook for more updates on this exciting project!
